A brief introduction

Have you ever sat at your desk or workstation on a bleak Monday morning and wished it was Sunday again? Even though the previous day was sunny, warm and bright, you did nothing with it apart from draw the curtains so you could watch a series catch up on your chosen ‘smart’ device. Maybe there isn’t anything to do where you live. Or maybe there is and you take it for granted.

Don’t get me wrong on my first post. I’m not having a go at anyone reading this, but someone might relate to it.

My name is Phil and this is my blog. Defining the purpose of it was and still is difficult. I’m a great lover of the outdoors, doing a range of things whenever I can and I still fall short of how much I’d like to be doing. So in this, I will inevitably be sharing with you things that I have done or seen or experienced, and therefore (hopefully) inspire you to do similar things. Maybe you can then share them with me? This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Thirty-something years old. I love running, cycling, photography, nature, being outdoors and wearing shorts all-year-round. Looking for ways and experiences to disconnect from the hum of what we accept as 'living', hopefully inspiring others to do the same!
